Character sheet for Acid. I decided I wanted a rat character, I love them so much and don't really have one (unless you count Adelaide, but she's a shapeshifter).

Name: Acid (He named himself, his previous name was (he felt) horrendous and he refuses to tell anyone what it was)

Age: 8 months

Gender: Male

Species: Hooded Rat

Personality: Acid's pretty quiet, keeping to himself a lot. He has a few good friends that he will open up around - he's generally very even-tempered, and surprisingly easy to talk to. He only hates it when he is approached on his blind side, and he can get jumpy and even violent when this occurs.

Okay, so, Acid (who at this time was called by that lame name he refuses to recall) was a lab rat, and what he was used to test was eye reactions to different stimuli (not in a cruel way or anything, the lab he worked for was actually fairly decent to their test animals). He was mainly given simple tasks like finding a way through mazes via light and color signals. However, he's always had a fear of humans, despite being born and raised around them. His brothers and sisters that were in the lab with him were eventually tamed to the point when they were almost willingly taken out of the cage and to the testing area, but Acid never got any less skiddish.

In one of these outings he saw an opportunity to flee, and he took it, leaping out of the scientist's hands and onto the lab table. As he was scurrying around trying to get away, he accidentally knocked over a vial of chemicals. The acid in the bottle was splashed onto his face, blinding him in his right eye. Somehow he managed to find his way to the ventilation grate, and he got into the walls.

It took him a few weeks to find his way out (made even more difficult by the still-healing wound and only one working eye) but he eventually found his way out of the building, and has been living out in nature ever since.
